The Lakers have brought back 26-year old PG/SG Jordan Farmar to a 1-year deal at the veteran’s minimum. Farmar played in 51 games in Turkey and Euroleague last year and he averaged 28.0 minutes, 13.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. He last played in the NBA for the then New Jersey Nets in 2011-12. Farmar has played in 413 games (25 starts) in his first six years in the NBA and he is averaging 19.5 minutes, 7.7 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Farmar played his first four years in the NBA with the Lakers, working in 301 games (2 starts) in which he averaged 18.0 minutes, 6.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Farmar was a solid addition for the bench for the Lakers in 2013-14.
