33-year old small forward Metta World Peace is off to a very slow start in February for the Lakers.  He has played in 2 games (both starts) for the Lakers so far this month and he is averaging 31.7 minutes, 7.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game.  He is only shooting 26.3% from the floor, 20% from the three point line and 50% from the free throw line so far this year and that’s not good at all.  But, World Peace has played pretty well overall this year for the Lakers.  He has played in 48 games (42 starts) for the Lakers so far this year and he is averaging 34.4 minutes, 13.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.7 blocked shots per game.  He is shooting 40.6% from the floor, 34.9% from three point range and 75% from the free throw line so far this year overall.  World Peace has been an asset for the Lakers so far in 2012-13.
