The Lakers shot 50% from the floor last night but it just didn’t matter.  The Lakers were down 82-67 to the Clippers after the first three quarters and that was too much to overcome.  Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers last night with 40 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals.  Dwight Howard (13 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 blocked shots) and Pau Gasol (10 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal) also pitched in for the Lakers last night.  The Lakers are now 0-3 on the year.
