The Lakers stung the Hornets in L.A. last night.  Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers in this game with 30 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.   Pau Gasol also had a monster game with 23 points, 16 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 blocked shots.  Andrew Bynum (13 points) and Ron Artest (11 points) also pitched in for the Lakers last night.  The Lakers are now 53-20 on the season.

The Lakers shot 50% from the floor last night and they outrebounded the Clippers 41-34 on their way to a nice “home” win.  Kobe Bryant (36 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals) and Pau Gasol (26 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal) led the way for the Lakers last night.  Ron Artest (15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocked shots) and Andrew Bynum (11 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocked shots) also had solid games for the Lakers last night.  The Lakers are now 52-20 on the season.

Los Angeles Lakers 139, Phoenix Suns 137 in 3 O.T.

The Lakers outran and outlasted the Suns last night.  Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers with a monster game as he finished up with 42 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists and 1 steal.  Lamar Odom (29 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 blocked shot) and Pau Gasol (24 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots) also had very solid games for the Lakers last night.  Ron Artest (18 points) and Matt Barnes (12 points) also pitched in for the Lakers last night.  The Lakers are now 51-20 on the year.

The Lakers outscored the Blazers 22-14 in the 4th quarter to put them away last night.  Kobe Bryant led the way for the Lakers last night with 22 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.  Lamar Odom (16 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals) and Pau Gasol (14 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots) also had very solid games for the Lakers last night.  Ron Artest pitched in with 10 points.  The Lakers are now 50-20 on the year.

The Lakers outlasted the pesky Timberwolves in L.A. last night.  Pau Gasol led the way for the Lakers last night with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 blocked shots.  Kobe only shot 6 of 17 from the floor last night but he still had 18 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal.  Shannon Brown (14 points in 20 minutes) and Andrew Bynum (10 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocked shots) also had big hands in the Lakers’ win last night.  The Lakers are now 49-20 on the year.

When Andrew Bynum returned to action, Lamar Odom was pushed back to his old bench role.  Odom has played in 7 games so far in March and he is averaging 27.1 minutes, 12.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.  He has now played in 68 games (32 starts) for the Lakers so far this year and he is averaging 32.1 minutes, 14.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.  Odom keeps his head up despite getting less minutes and the Lakers are really lucky that he’s o.k. with the roll that they have given him.

The Lakers outscored the Magic 56-38 in the second half last night which explains the rater easy win.  Pau Gasol led the way for the Lakers last night with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.  Kobe Bryant (16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal) and Lamar Odom (16 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists) also had solid games for the Lakers last night.  Derek Fisher (15 points) and Andrew Bynum (10 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocked shots) also pitched in with solid games for the Lakers last night.  The Lakers are now 48-2o on the year.

The Lakers were outscored 26-18 in the 4th quarter and it did them in last night in Miami.  Kobe Bryant (24 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal) and Pau Gasol (20 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) led the way for the Lakers last night.  Andrew Bynum stuffed the stat sheet last night with 13 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot.  Lamar Odom pitched in with 11 points in only 19 minutes on the floor.  The Lakers are now 46-20 on the year.
