The Dodgers have placed 27-year old righty swinging CF Matt Kemp on the 15-day disabled list due to a left hamstring strain. Kemp will likely miss at least four weeks as the Dodgers brought him back too soon last time. Kemp has played in 36 games for the Dodgers so far this year and he is 43 for 121 (.355 avg, 1.163 OPS) with 30 runs scored, 12 homers, 28 RBIs and 2 stolen bases. He has now played in 823 games in his first 7 years with the Dodgers and he is 883 for 2,983 (.296 avg, .859 OPS) with 494 runs scored, 140 homers, 485 RBIs and 146 stolen bases. This is a big blow for the Dodgers.
