27-year old righty swinging CF Matt Kemp and 30-year old lefty swinging RF Andre Ethier have been a two man wrecking crew for the Dodgers so far this year. Kemp has played in 10 games for the Dodgers so far this year and he is 19 for 39 (.487 avg, 1.548 OPS) with 13 runs scored, 6 homers, 16 RBIs and 1 stolen base. He looks like he has his eyes on winning the MVP Award that he got robbed of in 2011, when Ryan Braun won it. Andre Ethier has also been swinging a red hot stick so far this year. Ethier has played in 10 games for the Dodgers so far this year and he is 11 for 38 (.289 avg, 1.030 OPS) with 5 runs scored, 3 homers and 15 RBIs. The Dodgers are hoping that Ethier can stay healthy and offer protection in the batting order for Matt Kemp.
