The Dodgers have signed 29-year old lefty reliever Brent Leach to a minor league deal. Leach pitched in 8 games (all starts) in Japan last year and he was 1-7 with a 5.95 ERA and a 1.73 WHIP. He got his only taste of the majors back in 2009 with the Dodgers. He pitched in 38 games (0 starts) for the Dodgers in 2009 and he was 2-0 with a 5.75 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP. Leach will be a longshot to make the Dodgers’ bullpen this spring.
