The Los Angeles Angels are sending four guys to the 2012 All-Star Game. It all starts with 20-year old righty swinging CF Mike Trout. Trout has played in 58 games for the Angels so far this year and he is 80 for 236 (.339 avg, .938 OPS) with 51 runs scored, 9 homers, 33 RBIs and 22 stolen bases. He is the guy who makes if all go both offensively and defensively for the Angels. 26-year old righty swinging 1B/3B/OF Mark Trumbo has also made it to his first All-Star Team. Trumbo has played in 71 games for the Angels so far this year and he is 82 of 266 (.308 avg, .973 OPS) with 38 runs scored, 20 homers, 55 RBIs and 4 stolen bases. 29-year old righty starting pitcher Jered Weaver has been selected to the All-Star Team for the 3rd time in his career. He has pitched in 14 games (all starts) for the Angels so far this year and he is 9-1 with a 2.13 ERA and a 0.94 WHIP. 31-year old lefty starting pitcher C.J. Wilson has been picked to the All-Star Team for the 2nd time in his career. Wilson has pitched in 17 games (all starts) for the Angels so far this year and he is 9-4 with a 2.33 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP. The Angels are going to be represented really well at the All-Star Game in 2012.
