32-year old lefty starting pitcher C.J. Wilson isn’t letting the Angels poor start effect his performance.  Wilson has pitched in 17 games (all starts) for the Angels so far this year and he is 8-5 with a 3.63 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP.  Wilson has given up 99 hits and 45 walks while whiffing 99 batters in his first 106 2/3 innings so far this year, which is impressive for the most part….except all the walks.  Wilson has now pitched in 51 games (all starts) in his first two years with the Angels and he is 21-15 with a 3.76 ERA and a 1.35 WHIP.  Wilson signed a 5-year, $77.5 million dollar deal two winters ago and the Angels are getting some bang for their bucks.
