The Los Angeles Angels are going to likely be cautious buyers before the trade deadline

The Los Angeles Angels have a lot of money invested in the team right now, so they are going to have to be buyers next month.  The Angels are 33-43 (43.4%) on the season, which has them in 4th place in the A.L. West, 11 games behind the Rangers and 9 games out of the Wild Card.  I see the Angels going after the low lying fruit in the trade market rather than going for a high profile name.  I have a feeling that the Angels, despite a need in the starting rotation, will focus on relievers.  Jesse Crain might be the top target for them as he could close for the Angels, but he wouldn’t come cheaply.  The White Sox would likely want a package centered around Luis Jimenez and Garrett Richards for Crain.  I think I would aim lower than that.  Louis Coleman (Royals), Jared Burton (Twins), Josh Roenicke (Twins), Matt Lindstrom (White Sox), Latroy Hawkins (Mets), Brandon Lyon (Mets), Chad Qualls (Marlins) and John Axford (Brewers).
