Peter Bourjos is going to be prime trade bait for the Los Angeles Angels
Once the Angels decide what they need to do in the trade market, they are likely going to dangle 25-year old righty swinging CF Peter Bourjos to those teams. With Mike Trout entrenched as the starting CF for the Angels, so they won’t likely miss Bourjos too much. Bourjos has played in 69 games for the Angels so far this year and he is 33 for 136 (.243 avg, .658 OPS) with 17 runs scored, 3 homers, 19 RBIs and 2 stolen bases. He has now played in 267 games in his first three years with the Angels and he is 206 of 819 (.252 avg, .715 OPS) with 108 runs scored, 21 homers, 77 RBIs and 34 stolen bases. Bourjos’ speed and outstanding defense is going to entice some teams to attempt to make a deal for him.
