The Angels have signed 28-year old switch-hitting outfielder Trevor Crowe to a minor league deal. Crowe has played in 43 games in AA+AAA-ball so far this year for the Indians and Angels (one game in AAA) and he is 38 of 151 (.252 avg, .723 OPS) with 21 runs scored, 3 homers, 13 RBIs and 8 stolen bases. Crowe has played in 205 games in his first three years in the majors and he is 160 of 653 (.245 avg, .625 OPS) with 76 runs scored, 3 homers, 55 RBIs and 29 stolen bases. This was a good pickup for the Angels as Crowe is a good defensive outfielder with some speed.
