Haren has pitched in 17 games (all starts) for the Angels so far this year and he is 6-8 with a 4.86 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP. 27-year old righty reliever Kevin Jepsen has been called up to replace Haren on the pitching staff. Jepsen has pitched in 10 games (0 starts) for the Angels so far this year and he is 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA and a 1.38 WHIP. The Angels hope Haren only misses a couple of weeks.
