C.J. Wilson is looking sharp so far for the Los Angeles Angels
On the same day that the Angels signed 1B Albert Pujols, they also inked 31-year old lefty starter C.J. Wilson and that is proving to be money well spent. Wilson has started 4 games for the Angels so far this year and he is 2-2 with a 2.42 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP. He has only given up 17 hits in 26 innings so far this year for the Angels, while whiffing 26 batters. Wilson has now pitched in 71 games (all starts) in his last three years and he is 33-17 with a 3.12 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP. The Angels expect Wilson to keep up the good work going forward.
