24-year old righty swinging CF Peter Bourjos have been ice cold at the plate for the Angels in May. He has played in 27 games so far for the Angels in May and he is 16 for 93 (.172 avg, .507 OPS) with 13 runs scored, 0 homers, 2 RBIs and 3 stolen bases as he has whiffed 30 times this month. He has now played in 54 games for the Angels so far this year and he is 45 for 187 (.241 avg, .679 OPS) with 24 runs scored, 2 homers, 11 RBIs and 5 stolen bases. Bourjos is probably the best defensive CF in all of baseball, but, the Angels do need him to hit a little better. Bourjos has great speed but he only has 5 stolen bases so far this year because he can’t steal first base.
