The Angels have decided not to tender contracts to 27-year old righty swinging 3B Matt Brown or 27-year old righty starter/reliever Dustin Moseley. Brown played in 110 games in Rookie + AAA-ball last season and he was 99 for 398 (.249 avg, .749 OPS) with 58 runs scored, 13 homers, 71 RBIs and 5 stolen bases. Brown played in parts of two years for the Angels in his career appearing in 15 games in which he was 1 for 24 (.042 avg, .231 OPS) with 3 RBIs and 1 stolen base. Moseley pitched in 3 games (all starts) last season for the Angels and he was 1-0 with a 4.30 ERA and a 1.57 WHIP. He pitched in 64 games (23 starts) in four years with the Angels and he was 8-7 with a 5.41 ERA and a 1.55 WHIP. Moseley might help some team when he gets healthy but the Angels will probably be able to replace him.
