For the first time in a few years the Angels have a lot of question marks heading into the Winter Meetings. First off, the Angels desperately want to trade Gary Matthews even if they have to pick up a large chunk of what is owed to him. Then the Angels have to address 3B, DH and the bullpen. They also will be looking to add another solid starting pitcher. That is a lot of work to do and the Angels need to decide whether to make trades to fill the holes or sign free agents. I’m thinking it will be a mixture of the two but that the Angels will at least sign one big free agent this week.
