Mike Scioscia of the Los Angeles Angels wins the Manager of the Year Award in the A.L.
Mike Scioscia has won the American League Manager of the Year Award. He led the Angels to a 97-65 (59.9%) record during the regular season winning his fifth division title in the last six years. Scioscia now has managed the Angels for 10 years in which he has compiled a 900-720 record (55.6%) during the regular season. This is his second Manager of the Year Award winning also in 2002. Don’t be surprised if Scioscia adds to his trophy case in the near future as he is a really good manager.
