The first of the things the Angels have going for them is the home field. Hopefully they won’t need the Rally Monkey (they only use it when they are tied or losing late in games) too much in this series. The second thing that the Angels have going for them is the fact that Victor Martinez and Jason Varitek couldn’t throw out a defensive tackle trying to steal second base. Mike Scioscia has always loved to use the running game to put pressure on the opposition anyway so this could be a track meet. Chone Figgins (42 steals), Bobby Abreu (30 steals), Torii Hunter (18), Erick Aybar (14), Maicer Izturis (13) and Howie Kendrick (11) will all be likely to be given the green light in this series. But the biggest advantage for the Angels is what they are really playing for and that is Nick Adenhart. I would love to see the Angels win the World Series so that they could give a ring to his mother and father. GO ANGELS!
