Kendry Morales would have to be the team MVP for the Los Angeles Angels if they voted today
The Angels brought 26-year old switch hitting 1B Kendry Morales slowly letting him get a lot of P.T. in the minors and that appears to have paid off this season. Morales has played in 121 games this season and he is 141 for 454 (.311 avg, .948 OPS) with 71 runs scored, 30 homers and 94 RBIs. He seems to be getting stronger and the Angels are just riding the wave. In his first three years with the Angels, Morales played in only 127 games in which he was 94 for 377 (.249 avg, .710 OPS) with 40 runs scored, 12 homers and 45 RBIs. Look for Morales to finish strong for the Angels as teams will be expanding rosters likely weakening some pitching staffs who will be going young.
