The Los Angeles Angels had a stellar first half
The Angels finish the first half of the 2007 season with a 53-35 record which has them in first place in the American League West, 2.5 games ahead of the Mariners. Vladimir Guerrero is having an MVP type season as he’s been carrying the offense. Kelvim Escobar, John Lackey and the bullpen have all been outstanding for the Angels this season. But to hold off the Mariners the Angels will need Ervin Santana and Bartolo Colon to pick up their games. The Angels do have an outstanding farm system which will allow them to get whatever they think they need for a playoff run.
