Casey Kotchman is on fire for the Los Angeles Angels lately
Casey Kotchman was about to start losing playing time as he got off to a rough start to the 2007 season. But, then he caught fire and he’s been giving good protection in the lineup to Gary Matthews and Vladimir Guerrero. In his last 25 games for the Angels, Kotchman is 29 for 80 (.363 avg, 1.015 OPS) with 9 runs scored, 3 homers and 15 RBIs. The amazing thing about Kotchman is that he only has whiffed 5 times in those 25 games. Kotchman’s hot streak has raised his batting average to .305 for the season. The Angles need Kotchman to continue swinging a hot bat.
