Nathan Haynes on fire in AAA for the Angels

28 year old lefty swinging Nathan Haynes is on fire with a bat in his hands. In 29 games, Haynes is 45 for 114 (.395 avg, 1.074 OPS) with 20 runs scored, 3 homers, 24 RBIs and 11 stolen bases. If Haynes keeps hitting like he is right now, the Angels might have no choice but to call him up at some point.

I hope they do call him up, and while they’re at it call up Joe Saunders and trade Santana – how can Saunders not be better than him at this point?

I think Santana has a much better upside than Saunders does. But you might get your wish soon as the Devil Rays are very interested in him as a possible part of a package for Carl Crawford.
